Recently Goboservice has accepted with pleasure Cangiari's request of cooperation in promoting the first collection of "Beauty is different", the clothing line made by "Consorzio Sociale Goel".

"We are launching a very groomed collection as for fabric, style and design. Clothes are woven by Riace's women, embroidery is hand-made" says Vincenzo Linarello, Goel's president. "These clothes wish to express a positive depiction of our Region".

The very name of this clothing line (Cangiari means "to change" in Calabrian dialect) shows the will to change the Locri people is fighting for. 2010 fall/winter collection has been showed to public on Feb. 25 in Milan, while it will be also at Paris' "Zip Zone Louvre Salon" from March 5 to 8. The collection is for sale in Milan, at viale Montesanto showroom. Cangiari has been sponsored by the Italian Chamber of Fashion, Reggio Calabria Chamber of Commerce and Milan Municipality.

"The clothes we manufacture" says Goel's Manuela Sfondrini "are woven with craftmanship. They are socially-responsible clothes that have difficulty in finding their right place on the market, and for this reason they risk being unnoticed." That's why it has been decided to sell them in the high fashion market segment. Another Cangiari's added value is the choice of producing only with biological fabric.

Cangiari's network is going to grow, through its "Creative Community" a virtual platform for exchanging ideas. "Mafia promotes the Ugly" says Vincenzo Linarello. "On the contrary, the taste for the Beautiful, for everything with different looks, expresses an antimafia statement. Fashion is also a way for the positive and healthy side of Calabria to speak their mind".

Goboservice supported this project providing for free all that was required for the projections during the fashion show, that is two 35W Ecospot projectors as well as two black and white gobos.
