The official press conference of the World Fly Fishing Championships, which will be held from 28 August to 4 September, took place on Friday 1 April at CONI's Golden Hall.
During the presentation, it has been decided to use one of our EcoSpot 35W with a full color glass gobo. Despite its small power, the Ecospot has done its job fairly well by highlighting the image on a wall where using any type of signage was not possible.
The official press conference featured Giovanni Petrucci (president of CONI), Riccardo Agabio and Luca Pancalli (Vice Presidents of Coni), Marcel Ordan (President of the Sport Fishing International Confederation), Ugo Claudio Matteoli (President of the Italian Federation of Sport Fishing and Diving), Roberto Bertini (Councillor for Sports of Umbria Region), Alessandro Cochi (Rome's Managing Director for Sports) and Paolo Banti (representative of Tuscany Region).
Great expectation for this event that will involve six Italian regions (Lazio, Toscana, Emilia Romagna, Umbria, Liguria and Trentino Alto Adige) for a unique event of its kind that will see twenty-six (26) competition disciplines, between inland waters (rivers and lakes) and at sea.
The event will also feature more than 2,500 athletes, 1,100 between coaches and supporters, 1500 between referees and judges, for a total of over 5,100 participants from 66 countries around the world and over 130 National Sports Federations. It will be an experience of sport, ecology and adventure like no other in Italy.
