The Dipas projector is a projector for large images, also fit for long distances. The different versions of the projector and the ability to expand the system with a wide range of accessories make it a versatile appliance that can be used for projecting pictures, for architectural and Christmas lights projections.

Today Dipas projectors are the most powerful projectors for large images on the market in their price range. They distinguish themselves by the excellent brightness to wattage ratio.
It’s important to know that the lamp is only one of the factors that cause the brightness of a projector. For instance, there are projectors on the market with 1200W metal halide lamps (theoretically very bright), which however perform poorly, with a light beam far less bright than the one emitted by one of our Dipas 5000. The ratio between a traditional projector with 1200W HMI lamps and two-condenser optical systems, and a DIPAS, is 1:10 in terms of brightness: this means that, if the traditional projector releases about 650 lux at 10 meters, the DIPAS will release about 6,500 lux at the same distance.
Dipas projector is available in three versions: Dipas, Dipas Dmx and Dipas Pro. Dipas, equipped with the DA Rotation accessory, allows the rotation of one gobo. Dipas DMX, equipped with the DA Sequence accessory, allows the rotation of 4 or 6 gobos in sequence. Dipas Pro, equipped with the 6x7 film scroller accessory, allows the use of 6x7 films with a maximum of 60 frames.

The projector uses an adjustment system of the light beam, allowing different concentrations of the light beam, in order to give greater brightness in the central part or in the side parts of the projection. For example, in long-distance projections this allows focusing the beam to the centre of the projection, for maximum brightness in the useful area, avoiding at the same time unnecessary losses of light.
One of the most common needs in architectural projections is to cover, with a single projector, areas as large as possible, even at close distance. But the opposite is also common, that is to get very little pictures at medium to large distances. To meet both needs, the Dipas projector uses an optical system with a very wide focal (F80/180). This system is made of a very bright photographic lens coupled with a zoom lens. Additional wide-angle and telephoto lenses are also available. The projector can be equipped with protective covers for outdoor installations.
